There are plenty of exciting pursuits in Macau aside from its historic landmarks. Here is a list of our top things to do in the city.
Visit Rua da Tercena - This quaint street is located slightly off the beaten path and eschews the wild hordes of tourists. Found just behind Senado Square, keep your eyes peeled for quirky antiques and handicrafts sold at the flea market.
Macau Tower - Adrenaline junkies can leap off the Macau Tower with no fear. Standing tall at 233 metres in the sky, the AJ Hackett Macau Tower Bungy Jump is second highest bungy in the world. Definitely not for the faint of heart!
The Venetian - The shining beacon of Macau’s international repute, the Venetian is a luxury Venice-themed hotel and casino on the Cotai strip. It is currently the world’s largest casino, beating out even its compatriots in Las Vegas.
Greyhound Racing - In Macau, gambling isn’t just limited to the casinos. Greyhound Racing applies the same concept as horse racing, where people place bets on their favourite canine. The games take place at Canidrome every Monday, Thursday, Friday night and over the weekend as well.
